MOVEMENT ANALYSIS

Whether it’s just to walk without pain or to return to elite sport, your journey starts with a Rehabilitation & Movement Analysis in which we analyse your current movement, limitations, pain level and your goals for returning to fitness. Using a range of rehabilitation protocols and exercises we will not only aim to improve your movement but also reduce the risk of re-injury in the future. During the sessions we will coach you through a progressive and bespoke training plan designed around your individual needs.

This is suitable for physical and neurological conditions - sports injuries, stroke survivors, people with MS & Parkinsons, of all ages.

Note: We are not medical experts, however, we work closely, in a complementary approach, with physiotherapists, osteopaths, sports masseurs to ensure that we get you back on track.
MOVEMENT RE-PATTERNING
When we are injured, recovering from surgery or suffering from a condition our body changes our movement and compensates to avoid pain and discomfort. By using our unique Movement Re-Patterning protocols we train to gradually regain motor control, whilst improving co-ordination, strength and range of motion. We will work with you to reduce pain, minimise compensation and help you to move without discomfort so that you can enjoy movement again.​​


DYNAMIC MOVEMENT & RETURN TO SPORT
Once we have worked with you to reduce the pain and trained you to move without compensation we can begin to return to dynamic movements, running and sport. At which point we will conduct a Bio-Mechanical and Functional Movement Analysis before gradually increasing the intensity and difficulty of the sessions until we can match and exceed the requirements of your sport. This can include teaching and improving your running technique, strength and endurance.
The exercise rehab program over the last year has been life changing. I started because I've had 3 surgeries and could barely get over 5000 steps without being in a lot of pain. I had tried physio, tried to loose weight by myself and tried to exercise- and all of it was challenging. When I found this program and George, I'll admit I was skeptical that anything could work. But after a year - I'm very proud to say that I can now skip, jump and have started running. I now do 7000 steps, have gone surfing, skating and going to try a day of skiing. I am shocked at my progress. It's a long journey - but I recommend it to everyone.
